“The Marseille Millionaire by Kaya Quinsey Holt is a sweet story. The title put me in mind of an old Harlequin or Mills & Boon story but when you read it, it’s a head-on collision between that and chick lit and it works wonderfully well. Kaya has penned an amazing story, easy to read and descriptive in a way that transports you right into the events. It is a well-paced story, with fabulous characters that are developed realistically, allowing you to get to know them as real people. There were a couple of subplots that were equally as good as the main one, all tying together in one neat package. It’s a proper page-turner, a great read for a cold winter afternoon, drifting off to another world. Great story, I really enjoyed it – it’s a treat to read such a well-written book in this genre.“
